Tasha Levert, PhD, Executive Director
Tasha is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Brain Health Coach. She earned a Bible degree from Mississippi College before attending the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and earning an MA in Marriage and Family Counseling in 1999, a ThM (Master of Theology) in 2002, and a PhD in Marriage and Family Counseling in 2005.
Tasha has served as a professional counselor in multiple venues since 1999. After starting out in Baton Rouge, LA, she continued her counseling ministry with CentrePointe Counseling in Baltimore, MD, from 2003-2010. Tasha counseled with Rahab’s Hideaway, a ministry for victims of human trafficking, in Columbus, OH, from 2011-2013. In 2013 she opened her own practice, Broom Tree Counseling, where she serves clients via telehealth all over the United States.
Tasha is married to Tim, and they enjoy eating, traveling, dancing, dreaming, and playing with their kids. They have three teenagers and a lazy schnauzer named Tabasco. Tim is also on staff with Broom Tree, and he is the lead pastor of Mustard Seed Church of Denham Springs.
