Tasha Levert, PhD, Executive Director
Tasha is a Licensed Professional Counselor in North Carolina. She earned a Bible degree from Mississippi College before attending the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and earning an MA in Marriage and Family Counseling in 1999, a ThM (Master of Theology) in 2002, and a PhD in Marriage and Family Counseling in 2005.
Tasha has served as a professional counselor in multiple venues since 1999. After starting out in Baton Rouge, LA, she continued her counseling ministry with CentrePointe Counseling in Baltimore, MD, from 2003-2010. Tasha served Rahab’s Hideaway, a ministry for victims of human trafficking, in Columbus, OH, from 2011-2013. In 2013 she transitioned to New Orleans, LA, where she began her private practice, Broom Tree Counseling. In 2017, Tasha and her family relocated to North Carolina and back to Denham Springs, Louisiana where she currently serves the people of the Greater Baton Rouge area.
Tasha is married to Tim, and they enjoy eating, traveling, dancing, dreaming, and playing with their kids. They have three teenagers and a lazy schnauzer named Tabasco.
